About me
Gabrielle's work stems from the idea of using factual imagery to illustrate fictional text. Throughout the course her basis has been classic texts, manipulating found ephemera in combination with embroidery and print. The work explores the form of a book, and the way the text can influence this.
Working with previously used imagery, Gabrielle is passionate about redefining the contexts of a narrative in order to give the reader a fresh take on classic texts using the medium of collage.
