PRESENTATION LETTER

I will be arriving in London at the beginning of August (2012) and will be actively looking for a Graphic Designer Job.

To introduce myself briefly, I was born in France

and grew up in Mauritius, a multicultural island in the Indian Ocean.

I therefore have the advantage of having two different cultural backgrounds, allowing me to feel comfortable with both French and English languages and cultures, thus allowing me to adapt easily to different environments.

I obtained my degree in Graphic Design and Advertising in Mauritius, from the Mauritian university Charles Telfaire Institute which is affiliated with Curtin university in Australia. All my courses were in English.

My three years there were intense and inspiring.

During that period, I did a vocational training in the communication department of a real estate company and also began working freelance.

Having completed my degree, I did a vocational training in Mauritius with a visual communication agency then moved to Angoulême (France) to work in a visual communication agency as part of my vocational training. It was a great experience. I worked on large and interesting projects such as "Les Gastronomades" et "Le Festival du film Francophone". On my return to Mauritius I found a permanent position as a Graphic Designer working for the same type of company where I am still employed.

I now wish now to broaden my horizons and take new challenges in my professional life. My next goal is to work in London.

I am interested in gaining experience in publishing houses, agencies that focus on "green" design or even in Fashion. I am also open to any other opportunities including visual communication agencies.

I am very motivated and I am looking forward to progress in my profession in a new and exciting way.
