About me

An imaginative kid, grown up.

I am experienced taking projects from initial concept through art direction and character design, through to final character and FX animations, and data visualisation. I operate largely as a solo studio, alongside more conventional freelancer positions with production companies, this means I can provide similar services to a fully staffed agency, all under one roof and for significantly less cost.

I have over ten years experience creating with After Effects and Premiere, across corporate internal and external coms, branded social media, explainers and infographics sequences for documentaries, and I'm increasingly directing music videos.

I pride myself on my attention to detail. I am by nature a visual artist and have a developed interest in photography, fractal art, illustration, and traditional painting (science fiction, abstract, and surrealism). This has further developed my understanding of composition, lighting, and colour theory and I have been complimented on my progress in all of these by professionals to whom I have shown my work. I continue to study the history of art and design for new inspirations and creative avenues and am genuinely excited by the process of exploration.

I value what everyone brings to the table and while hard-working and demanding of myself I am also patient, respectful, and friendly with my colleagues. Nothing makes things easier for everyone than crystal clear communication and I genuinely appreciate direct and honest feedback on my own work. This is how I've grown, and this is how I continue to grow with each subsequent project.
