About Freddy
My name is Freddy Williams, I have over four years graphic design experience and have been working as part of the design team for Black Dog publishing for the past 18 months. During this I have developed a wide range of skills making me a strong freelance designer that can take on any job . I am hard working and keen to take on the new challenges that working for a larger company could offer.
My main area of expertise is editorial design and I have a personal interest in typography. During my time studying at Camberwell College I spent hours in the letterpress studio, where I cultivated my printing technique and developed a passion for traditional methods of working and typography. I built a good relationship with my tutor and have subsequently kept strong links with the college. Post graduating I worked as a part of the Camberwell Press (), which provided a great stepping stone into a professional career and allowed me to work on numerous exciting projects from start to finish. At my time at the press I self managed project, arranged meeting and dealt with clients personally. Always working to a high standard the principles behind the press are high quality grounded in a good knowledge of typography and print. Furthermore, I have returned to the college for a number of freelance teaching jobs, including print workshops and lectures.
After leaving the press I had a six month internship at Fraser Muggeridge Studio and freelanced at Them design company working on many of the corporate campaigns they had at the time. I have subsequently had a fall time position at Black Dog Publishing in which i have self managed project for some of the biggest art institution around the world.
I am outgoing and very easy to get on with. I have a lot of experience of working within a team and am therefore reliably and conscientious. I'm young a energetic and always up for taking on my task that come by way. I have lots of interests outside of work and enjoy a trip to the comedy club and playing football twice a week.
