About me
Hello! I am Frances, a freelance illustrator, artist and visual experience assistant living in the South-West of England. I recently returned to university to do a postgraduate degree in Illustration to refresh my craft. Previously I studied BA (Hons) Animation at UWE, graduating in 2010 (specialising in 2D).
I believe my strength is in the traditional hand-drawn line, which I am keen not to lose in my art and my strongest - and most enjoyed - subject are animals. I can adapt to a variety of styles. I am looking to further my ability with traditional media to a more professional finish and am currently creating and offering animal and pet portraits in acrylics.
I have had experience creating illustrations for an e-book, educational workbooks for children, posters, a flyer, logo designs and designs for T-shirts, plus various painted commissions for individuals.
