ABOUT ME:

As Visual Merchandising Deputy Manager for a flagship Topshop store in Knightsbridge, I am currently responsible for leading the in store visual merchandising and creative team in delivering a world class retail environment. Ensuring the product is displayed in a way that maximizes sales and is commercially right for the market as well as representing the brand.

Daily tasks include overseeing window scheme installations, mannequin styling, visual merchandising, graphic and prop installments and checking over commercial reports.

During my time within Topshop I have been selected to attend the store opening in Brighton, to set up and launch new trends for the opening day. I have also supported the teams in White City, Stratford Westfield and Selfridges on Oxford Street. I have participated in new launches and trials, taking charge of my own area and setting guidelines to launch across the brand. I do this whilst working closely with my Field Visual Team.

I am responsible for a team ranging from 3 to 6 members at any time, with a varying degree of skill and experience. Delegating tasks and understanding each team member's passions and development areas are essential to running the team.

I am a passionate and enthusiastic individual, who strives for the best. I understand the importance of prioritizing, and juggling many tasks at once. Working to tight deadlines and being flexible to changing workloads are key attributes I possess. I am extremely motivated and keen to learn new skills.

During each new season set up, myself, and my team have been praised for our ability to deliver work of an extremely high standard, often under a tight schedule and a limited team capacity. We are often used as an example store to launch new trends as we are known for our attention to detail and eye for perfection.

I have a background in Fashion and Print, completing my Masters in Fashion Media in 2011 with Fashion Styling being my chosen pathway. During my time studying for this I looked into the theory behind dress sense and style, and was involved in various street style and photographic projects.

Prior to that, I graduated from Winchester School of Art with a BA in Print Design.
