Re: Freelance Creative artworker
I am a recent university graduate who studied Digital Media and Art at BA(Hons) level. The course included use of highly professional editing programmes such as Photoshop and After Effects. My recent course included; advertising, video editing, web design, photography, photo editing, digital art, animation, game design and much more. I regularly blog about and market my own artwork on social media websites frequently as I work on building upon my existing online art portfolio. This consists of photography, photo editing, drawing and illustrations, digital art and more. My portfolio is online, at frankiestrangeart.tumblr. I am extremely passionate about art and all kinds of creative activities including card making, jewellery making and prop making.
I have previously attended a work experience in an office environment, organising paperwork and using computer programmes. These required attention to detail and high levels of confidentiality to customers as I dealt with private information. My previous job was a coffee shop assistant, which required me to work on the till to greet customers in a friendly manner. I also needed to learn how to use the till, fixing it when it failed to work and used the telephone to make important orders for the entire coffee shop. I worked well under pressure as the job required me to make important decisions in stressful busy environments and dealt with difficult customers to ensure that their problems were solved and that they were happy. I have recently volunteered as an assistant In Sue Ryder, helping to serve customers and assisting any visual merchandising jobs that need to be done, such as window and table displays.
I am a highly organised individual who is always keen to learn new things. I pick things up and learn quickly, as I did in university, learning new professional computer programmes and always keeping to important deadlines and dates. I am confident that I can work on my own as well as within a team of other people, as I am a very friendly person who gets along with all people.
