Francesco Massimeo:

finished boarding school I left to start my academic career in Australia, Sydney.

Enrolled in a business strategy program I studied there for three years before flying to Spain, Madrid, where I continued study in economics sciences. Graduated in Italy in Economics in 2006, I've been in London since January 2007.

The main purposes of my academic years has been to travel and learn to move and adapt. I would confidently say that my motivations comes from curiosity and the need to have a broad perception of the societies and the forces that regulates them. This is why I keep on studying, to give myself the intellectual challenge to investigate further and in different perspectives.

Is my desire to get close to the journalism profession and have a chance to see if I can fit in the environment with my specific knowledge and my broad experience.

Particularly I have alway had a inclination to use images to present issues and a fascination for their ability to express ideas sometime words are not capable of or not as easily capable. For that reason I have always kept the camera with me and undertook photography and photojournalism courses. I like the reportage style and the use of the camera as an investigating tool.

I have also done self started research on the art of image composition to present issues effectively.
