ABOUT

The idea of drawing animals alphabet arose initially from my need to make a challenge to myself and create a complete set of illustrations.
I'm a graphic designer, I never studied illustration, but in recent years my passion for drawing has grown more and more.

I started by drawing an animal for each letter of the alphabet, trying to keep a good balance between reality and fantasy, I wanted the children to learn while having fun.
Then I thought, what am I doing these illustrations? What will become? A poster? A game?
At the end of the cards have become.

The cards seemed to me the ideal tool because it lends itself to many uses. The first is to learn and associate the letters of the alphabet. But once you learn the alphabet the game is not finished. Behind each card there are amusing curiosity concerning the animal depicted, then you can play the quiz, or memory, or to support the animals by categories (birds, mammals, the savannah, the farm etc.).

They are a simple, as the illustrations that I made, but rich in possibilities. Like the mind of a child.
