About me

My name is Francesca Lever and I am a twenty two year old photographer with a 2.1 BA Hons degree in Photography from UCA Farnham and I am really interested junior digital photographer job.

I have been gaining work experience in film, television and photography since I was seventeen as a unit stills photographer taking photographs of the recording of a variety of productions at Pinewood Studios. At times the situation could be hectic and stressful but at the same exhilarating. This included BBC's Extras and Doctors, and several feature films. I am used to working as part of a creative team and also independently and using my own initiative. Last March I was given a brief by Stereo Mecmusai Hi-Fi magazine to record the Interpreti Veneziani orchestra in Venice so I like to think that I can work well to a brief and to a deadline-I had a week to edit and produce the photographs for the magazine.

I have also been approached by Oxygen Modelling Agency to photograph models Catherine Thomas and Viola Szekely who both appeared in Britain's Next Top Model.

Also in March 2010 I photographed singer Rihannon Lambert, a classical singer who liked the photographs so much she wanted to use them for her website. Her record company Warner Brothers who were very specific about the type of photographs they required and they demanded a high standard of editing and processing which I am pleased to say I was able to deliver.

This has all been invaluable experience for me, I endeavoured to work in a variety of situations in order to provide myself with a deeper understanding of the world of film and photography in preparation for my career.
