About me

A recent Cambridge graduate, who is passionate about the written word, seeks to gain more experience in publishing.

I have always been passionate about literature and a voracious reader, and

my experience working for the Orion Publishing Group has confirmed my

desire to pursue a career in Publishing.

I particularly loved writing the copy for the books and learning how the

editors operate in advising authors and suggesting amendments to the work,

and so for this reason believe I would be best suited to an editorial

role, however I would also relish the opportunity to learn more about the

publicity and sales departments of the industry.

Classics at Cambridge University is a very literature-intensive course and

it taught me how to critically appraise a range of texts, both fiction and

non-fiction. I have a pretty eclectic taste in literature, ranging from

fantasy and science fiction to cooking and anthropology texts.
