Dear hiring manager,

Through my search for a graphic designer job for an artist role, I came across Gemini on the Creative Pool website, and noticed you are accepting applications for designers for your studio.

Based off the job description, I understand you are looking for applicants that can create and execute great design layouts for POS and windows, are creatively minded, come up with concepts, and execute into final artworks. I offer you a demonstrated ability to perform these tasks, as can be seen through my works where I not only worked as a freelance artist for mobile apps, websites, and print, but also developed my own game too. I've also worked in retail for a number of years and help set up various promotional signage for windows and around the store. With these experiences I show my enthusiasm for design and my technical ability when it comes to designing and delivering when it matters.

One of my standout achievements I've been credited for, is getting a small design studio I co-founded, up and running and working on the artwork for 3 projects simultaneously from the first month in business. I would work closely with my team designing and implementing mobile apps from concept to final release, working alongside clients and delivering projects to by deadline. These experiences helped me when I left and joined a start-up company, who specialise in a revolutionary 3d game engine designed for the web and mobile.

I am really interested in working for you simply for the type of tasks on hand, and the opportunities to take one bigger projects in the future. The company sounds like a great place to work at, ambitious, and a great opportunity to develop myself. However, I understand the role is advertised for freelance and part-time, but I'm hoping you can consider for me to work on a full time basis should a position opens up.
