About me
Hi there,
Hope you're well. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Aaron. I am cinematographer and editor. I hold a degree in 'Digital Film & Post Production Technology' and my work experience to date has included a wide range of video
production work in the UK and abroad. My most recent projects include filming and editing on short films for youth activity programmes, which involves the need for a good level of communication. I am intrigued to know about the projects you have going on and would relish the opportunity to get involved.
I am a confident and an experienced user of the Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Speed Grade. I am also fluent within Final Cut Pro 7 & X. I can analyze raw footage and construct it into a well-structured narrative or documentary. I own my own Canon 550d with various lenses, lighting, audio microphone and a Slider. I've have operated a Canon 5D MKiii, C100, C300, Sony FS700 and a Black Magic. Through knowing my way around various cameras I understand the importance of composition and always strive for creativity and effect when crafting and composing an image. I am
qualified and experienced in lighting whereby I have operated LEDS, Kino-Flo, Redhead and Arri Lamp heads.
My experiences abroad (LA and India) has enabled me to work on a number of interesting and visionary projects with a variety of creative minds; those who display a passion for their art. Within these projects I have been required to collaborate closely with artists ensuring that all conceptual avenues are explored. I am an adventurous filmmaker who understands the need to be assertive as well as the need to collaborate on the direction of ideas. I am more than capable with working
to strict deadlines whilst still adhering to the given brief. When working in a team and I know I can motivate and enthuse others.
