About me
I am Yu-Yang Tung (魚羊 fisheeptung), a visual communication design major. In 2015, I joined the music and design studio "HereThere Studio" as a graphic designer. I have designed albums and made music videos for various independent bands in Taiwan, and have been responsible for numerous graphic visual projects. Starting in 2018, I have worked as a freelance illustrator, exploring diverse artistic styles. My works often incorporate a sense of freedom and childlike playfulness, utilizing intuitive color palettes and brushstrokes of various types, without confining myself to a single style. These elements, like a straight pitch, naturally and effortlessly resonate with the viewers.
In 2018, I was selected for the Taipei Illustration Fair. In 2019, I received the Silver Award in Illustration and Bronze Award in Digital Design at the Indigo Awards in the Netherlands. In 2020, I held my first solo exhibition in Taipei and Kaohsiung, which was supported by the Kaohsiung Bureau of Cultural Affairs. In 2021, I was selected for the Talent 100 at the Creative Expo Taiwan, and in 2023, I was selected for the RE:AND Art and Design Expo. I collaborated with a range of clients, including Japan's publishing company Fusosha, a Japanese brand creative strategy company Loftwork, a Dutch app developer Bitrise, a famous e-commerce platform and Tainan City Music Festival in Taiwan, and several Taiwanese independent bands.
