Dear Sir or Madam,

Having been made aware of your vacancy for an Account Executive, I wish to formally register my interest for the position. I have recently completed my Masters in Marketing and gained valuable marketing experience working in a fast-paced business environment; both of which have helped me to build the strong foundations of knowledge needed to succeed in business.

The job outline has led me to believe that my development at your organisation would match closely with my strengths and experiences. In particular I am versed in working to deadlines, possess excellent numerate skills and communicate effectively. I consider myself to have creativity and verve in marketing, understanding marketing messages, market forces and am keen to add to the melting pot of creative ideas at Tag Worldwide.

I can bring a youthful perspective and vigour to the organisation and offer a diverse approach to tasks; most importantly I am a keen learner, always finding ways of improving my knowledge and current skills whilst learning new ones. Having already gained experience working in similar roles, where duties involved managing a specific marketing campaign, creating marketing collateral and producing marketing communications - all designed to generate leads and raise awareness of the company's services; I believe I have the necessary skills and expertise needed to be successful within this role, allowing me to hit the ground running with minimal training. In addition, having worked in the communications department for a local government organisation, where duties included writing press releases, creating internal and external communications as well as handling media relations, I am well equipped to handle the challenges of this role and will be able to provide excellent support on all marketing activities. Therefore the opportunity to work as Account Executive is a role I could not only accomplish, but also excel at.

I feel my 'never give up' attitude and tenacity in completing set tasks to the best of my ability are traits needed to be successful within this role. Furthermore I believe I can make this role a success as the opportunity to gain a broad range of experience, coupled with my strong interest and passion for marketing, will allow me to do something I enjoy a great deal.

I believe I have the necessary skills to make an effective contribution to the company and will bring a strong level of commitment and positive attitude to the workplace.
