I describe myself as a hybrid writer. I have worked as a journalist for national publications and, more recently, I have been employed as a communications advisor for various public sector organisations, including the former Probation Chiefs' Association representing England and Wales.

I have the imagination to come up with interesting 'news lines' and the experience to take weighty documents, select the relevant information and data to produce an article or report that achieves the set objectives by being clear, creative and informative.

I am skilled at retaining the overview, ensuring that each section remains pertinent, factually correct and supported with evidence when required. As an experienced journalist and marketing hybrid, I can bring an extra writing dimension to the production process. I never lose sight of the key messages to 'hook' the identified target audiences.
