Re: Web Editor/ Content Editor position

Im writing to apply for the position of web editor.

I am a highly motivated and talented web editor and assistant editor with three years of professional experience across a spectrum of publishing roles.

I currently work as assistant editor at Northern Homes, a monthly consumer interiors magazine which has been in print for over 13 years.

I am applying for the position of online content manager because I feel I am ready for a new challenge and I would relish the opportunity to continue to advance my writing and editing skills online.

I started my career as a staff writer at an international magazine, where I developed my experience in writing engaging editorial, sub-editing and working as part of a team. From here I progressed into web editing where I continued to develop my editing skills, whilst gaining an understanding of online publishing, content management and copywriting.

Last year I was promoted to the role of assistant editor at Northern Homes. In this position I have gained managerial skills whilst honing my knowledge of the publishing industry.
