A marketing specialist, social impact investor and start up advisor with an Executive MBA from Stern NYU, London School of Economics and HEC who is passionate about the power of creativity to drive business performance for clients.
Fergus is CEO and partner in independent global communications agency Leagas Delaney, leading the agency through a transformative era. Within the first 12 months Leagas Delaney have risen from ranked #50 in the UK for growth to #4 with major new business wins such as Investec, BASF, Peroni, Royal British Legion and Shiseido.
Prior to that Fergus has worked in New York, Chicago, Hong Kong and Singapore for Ogilvy & Mather on global clients such as Unilever, Coca Cola, SC Johnson, Diageo and Uber.
Fergus also ran Asia's largest social media agency, Social@Ogilvy where he drove 60% growth and new product development.
Fergus is personally involved in social impact projects especially for female empowerment initiatives including investing and advising Narra Life: a fintech business that provides micro financing to Filipina female entrepreneurs. He is a Director to The Philippines Foundation creating Livelihood and Empowerment programs for women and children. He is an active advisor for The Global Campaign for Mental Health, the inaugural global mental health foundation focusing on supporting women in developing countries.
Fergus is also the Writer, Producer and Interviewer in the video series Creativity: Weapon of Mass Disruption where he interviews some of the world's most pioneering creative thinkers who have used the power of a creative idea to disrupt the world around them. The series features Emmanuel Jal, Jackie Chan, John De Mol, Donna Karan and Sir Jackie Stewart. Fergus believes that we have a responsibility to inspire the next generation of the power of a creative idea, and to understand how to nurture and protect it.
