About me
I am a highly motivated and organised individual, who thrives on creative energy.
I possess strong experience in the premium and luxury market levels, with a focus mainly in smart-casual woven's and tailoring. I have repeatedly been responsible for the entirety of producing multi-product menswear collections from initial research and story boards, to design development and sourcing, to production and QC. This includes working with start-ups to develop a brand identity as well as more established brands wanting to launch into the menswear category.
I am able to work with and support a team, as I enjoy being around like-minded creative people working towards the same goal; and also have experience in leading a small design team. However I am equally comfortable working under my own initiative.
My career to date shows many an example of being 'dropped in at the deep end' - most evidently my first role being fresh out of university with limited experience and being trusted to solely design, develop, source, produce and ship out product for a new e-commerce brand. This huge learning curve means that wherever I have followed as a result, I am calm, proactive, can predict potential problems before they have the chance to arise, deal with multiple tasks and generally hustle to find answers to get the job done and do it well.
I haven't dropped the ball yet; and welcome future creative opportunities to develop my skills, learning and understanding of the industry further.
