About me

After having gained a years experience in the design industry working for a communications and marketing company, where I have completed a rich variety of different projects. I am now looking for a new role within the graphic design field which would compliment my already strong skills and allow me to build upon my ability to come up with imaginative, bright ideas and to excel in a new and challenging environment.I have been trained to a professional level within the Adobe CS4 Master Collection with particular competencies in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Flash. I am also trained to a high level in Quark and Freehand MX. I also have particular competencies in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro. I also have some professional experience in 3D Studio Max and Maya and a sound understanding of all areas of DTP, such as Microsoft Powerpoint.I am an imaginative, self motivated, passionate and work focused individual with a meticulous eye for detail and have been highly commended for my bright ideas and ability to work up ideas quickly to a high standard, often under pressure and to tight deadlines. My experience of working in a team of designers has built on my already strong communication skills and has increased my ability to problem solve in a very efficient way.Having had a broad education within art, design and media, I not only have digital design skills but I am trained in traditional drawing, painting, illustration, photography, web design and film making, giving me the ability and confidence to experiment with the best media for a brief. I have the ability to turn my ideas into reality and because of my commercial experience, I have the ability to do this quickly and to a cost effective level.
