About me

I have just finished my final year as a student studying graphic design in the University of East London. Throughout the duration of my three years on the course I have learnt a great deal, from the different methods of magazine layouts, designing corporate identities for businesses to advertising campaigns by using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or In-design. Ever since I was at school I have been studying graphic design and have had a passion for it and I knew that is what I wanted to study when I progressed on to further education. The reason me being so fond of graphics is due to me having a wild imagination, which helps lot, it helps in term of ideas and portraying them for me is not a problem. Another aspect I love to add to my designs is photography, as I have grown an interest in that as well during my college stages where I studied it for two years. This has helped me as a designer as well as I believe that a designer should have a knowledge and experience in as many things possible, as it broadens your horizons influencing you as without influence you will have nothing to work with.

Another part I love about graphic design is that you have to be organized in order to succeed to your fullest potential, especially if you have multiple projects that you are working on. This allows you to keep busy and put your head down, which is a thing I like doing as lazing around is not in my nature. I take positively to criticisms as I believe it is another way to broaden your horizons as you can always improve on the level of work you produce, there are no limits.

I like to think my self as being a big thinker, which leads on to another way I like to express myself, in means of poetry. Poetry along with design is a great part of my life, as it allows me to express my self emotionally through means writing. In the past it has helped me a great deal in general life including my work as a designer.

I have also opened a graphic design company for a previous professional practice module, and am currently working on that as it is giving me experience and communication with the world of design has made me self aware of how to treat customers and designing for them in the suitable requirements to there needs. I have done a few projects such as designing for small businesses to and advertising campaign for the NHS.

Other than that I am a keen, enthusiastic and determined young person who strives to achieve aims and goals. Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Proven interpersonal skills within strong team based environments, dedicated to maintaining high quality standards. Aim to be associated with a progressive organization that gives ample scope to apply my skills and knowledge and to involve myself as part of team that will work dynamically towards the growth of organization.
