Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in the Production/Fashion Assistant position and would love the opportunity working within this company.

I have graduated with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Specialist Hair and Media Makeup. Throughout my study I have gained knowledge in various sectors within the beauty, fashion and media industry. I have attained skills in how to accomplish diverse looks for different platforms such as; editorial, high fashion, avant-garde and special effects. And combining this to fashion, whether this is for current trends or historical eras. I have understanding of how beauty and fashion plays a huge role within the media, and the impact of how showcasing these areas can have on the market. This allowed me to understand how the workplace is run, following directors' orders, having a good eye for detail and keeping up with trends.

I have had the opportunity of carrying out my own projects which resulted in collaborating with a creative team of photographers, models and stylists as a hair and makeup artist. As well as using software's like Photoshop and producing many forms of productions such as; printed portfolio, magazine covers, online website and social media pages.

One of the most important part of being a successful candidate within the Media industry is the ability to work proficiently and in a timely method. Throughout my experience, I have hit targets and obtained advancement. My professionalism is impeccable, presented by organisation, good communication and awareness of hygiene. I enjoy a challenge and the pressure that comes with working in a fast-paced environment.

I enjoy the use of social media and believe this is the strongest form of marketing currently. The importance of how an image or video can become trending globally overnight. It is vital to know the ways of how this can be achieved which I believe I have a well understanding of. Along with these personal attributes, it is also vital to understand the market demands and customers interests which I have established by my retail experiences. Ensuring customers are satisfied to obtain repeat customers or purchases and knowing the techniques of making sales.

In addition to these skills and achievements, I personally am a very friendly, creative and professional individual who always aims to achieve the best.
