About me
Dear Employer,
I am a talented and striving graphic designer who is seeking a position within a developing company. I have been seeking an opportunity such as this and I think my background and your requirements are a good match for the vacancies that may be available.
I have recently graduated gaining a 2.1 Honours in Graphic design from University of East London. Over the past three years, I have become highly proficient in most Adobe programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash and After Effects on both Mac OSX and Windows. I have worked with talented individual from whom I have learnt a lot and as a result I can produce great work at the highest level under pressure and to tight deadlines.
My experience in Graphic Design is not focused on one aspect, but I enjoy working with everything throughout design from magazine advertisements, posters, leaflets and websites where I have knowledge of HTML and CSS. I also enjoy working on exhibition projects.
I am confident that my combination of practical work experience and solid educational experience has prepared me for making an immediate contribution to your company. I understand the level of professionalism and communication required for long-term success in the field. I have worked for two companies over the past 4 years for whom I have created a lot of design work.
Along with this, I have worked as a freelance designer so I can experience the design world away from education and a design firm. This has broadened my knowledge about what design is about and I feel it has had a very positive impact on my design skills.
My background and professional approach to business will provide your office with a highly productive Graphic Designer.
I have attached a CV, but I feel that my portfolio would be a better way to introduce myself to you. I look forward to having the opportunity to present my portfolio. However, due to file size you may view my online portfolio here: *
With design, it isn't always about experience, but it's what the designer can bring to the table. It's not where you take things from - it's where you take them to.
Kind regards,
