About me
I'm a multidisciplinary media artist and 3D generalist working across animation, visual effects, and interactive media. My practice moves fluidly between commercial and experimental work, always driven by curiosity, research, and a love of the moving image.
I originally studied Fine Arts in Greece, where I developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling, sculpture, and conceptual thinking. Later, I completed a Master's in Media Art at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM), a place that encouraged experimentation across disciplines—from VR and robotics to film and installation. This academic and creative background continues to shape how I approach each project: as a chance to explore new ideas, formats, and technologies.
For the past several years, I've worked both as a freelancer and as part of teams in agencies and cultural institutions. I've collaborated on a broad range of projects, including 2D/3D animations, immersive VR films, projection mapping, live visuals, and exhibition design. My clients and collaborators have included artists, museums, filmmakers, and companies working in music, fashion, and theater. I've also had the opportunity to work on large-scale productions, such as assisting at the Greek Pavilion of the Venice Biennale, where I handled tasks ranging from 3D work to media management and social communication.
Technically, I'm comfortable navigating both creative and production pipelines. I use tools like Blender, Houdini, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve regularly, and I'm always exploring newer platforms like TouchDesigner, vvvv, and ComfyUI. My workflow often blends different software environments, combining procedural modeling, animation, compositing, and real-time elements into a cohesive whole. I'm especially interested in workflows that let me mix photorealism with abstraction or cinematic aesthetics with surreal or otherworldly tones.
Creatively, I'm drawn to themes like memory, urban space, identity, and speculative futures. I often use technology not just as a means of production, but also as a concept in itself—something to be questioned, glitched, or poetically reimagined. My recent personal work includes "paintings" on gypsum plates inspired by the layering of urban environments, and experiments with lenticular prints as a form of 3D storytelling.
Outside of my commissioned projects, I value learning and sharing knowledge. I've recently started offering one-on-one Blender lessons, aiming to help others navigate the sometimes overwhelming world of 3D. I also love working with other artists on hybrid projects—whether it's an installation, a film, or something in-between.
I enjoy collaborative environments where everyone brings a different strength or vision to the table. Whether it's working on a tight commercial deadline or developing a longer-term research-based piece, I bring a mix of precision, playfulness, and responsibility to my role. I'm open to new collaborations and always curious about crossing boundaries—between mediums, disciplines, and industries.
