About me
I'm Fabio Caveira, Brazilian Group Creative Director/Art Director at Ogilvy Shenzhen/China. Unlike most Brazilian guys, I don't like soccer, don't know how to samba and never tasted feijoada (a local heavyweight delicacy). But like some Brazilians, I'm crazy about advertising. So crazy that I've been working in the industry for close to 30 years!
My career has taken me all over the world, from Brazil to Portugal, to Poland, to Romania, to Jordan, to Qatar, and now to China. After working at global networks such as J. Walter Thompson, M&C Saatchi, Leo Burnett, and Y&R, I decided to join an in-house agency. So I moved to Shenzhen, China, to join OPPO. After 2 years I moved back to the agency side joining Ogilvy as a Group Creative Director.
Besides OPPO, I've worked with QNB (Qatar National Bank), Orange Telecom, IKEA, Kia Motors, Portugal Telecom, Coca-Cola, and Petrobras and my work was recognized by the industry receiving awards and nominations such as London International Awards, New York Festivals, Ad Stars Asia, Lisbon International Advertising Festival, Brazilian Creative Club - CCSP, and featured on many Lürzer's Archive editions, and I also served on the jury of festivals in Brazil, USA, South Korea, Portugal and UK.
As a side note, I love to photograph food, to travel, and to discover new tastes, colors, smells, things in general - and I also collect funny stupid memes that I share daily on an Instagram account dedicated to just that.
