About me

I am an energetic, innovative and creative person enjoying the vast possibilities of Printed Textile Design. I have recently graduated with a 2:1, from the prestigious Winchester School of Art. I have a great passion for textiles and I have always had an interest for art. As a designer, I'm influenced by cultural issues and inspired through colour and intrinsic patterns. I have a strong interest in travel. My designs are created through a combination of hand drawings using different mediums to later manipulate in photoshop, as well as combining the use of Screen Printing, which I feel are adaptable across many print bases including interiors, stationary, fashion, accessories and fabrics. I am competent in using Macs and PC, Adobe CS5 Suite and Microsoft Software.

I thoroughly enjoy working within a team as much as working on my own. I am focused, very hard working, self motivated, meet deadlines and thrive on challenges. I am hoping to obtain experience within your company, to broaden my skills and gain valuable knowledge and understanding about the textile design industry. I feel working within a new environment would be an invaluable experience with the opportunity to learn about a company approach to design.
