About me
I am a qualified Mixed-Media Artist. I am well acquainted with issues of Fine Arts and Design. I have studied and acquired technical and artistic skills in various artistic media: Ceramics (8 years study), Printmaking (6 years), Graphic Design (5 years), Sculpture (9 years), Painting and Drawing (7 years), Photography (3 years) and Video Production (2 years).
In June 2007 I was awarded a BA (Hons) in Visual Design & Advertising at the Ashford School of Art & Design in Ashford, University of Kent, where for one year I practised digital Video Production and Editing, Graphic Design, Web Design, Animation, Illustration and Photography. I had a chance of practising the skills I gained there. For my diploma I made a video-art 'The Summer Night Dream', where I experimented with various types of animation.
In the summer of 2007 I worked voluntarily as a photographer and a cameraman for 'The Egerton Players' during their performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream in Egerton. I also took, edited and catalogued pictures of furniture for Lifestyle UK, Maidstone.
For three years I worked as a Creative Arts Supervisor for Care (Self-unlimited) Ltd. in Edenbridge, Kent. Working as a part of team I supported adults with various learning disabilities in developing their skills in Artistic Media (Photography, Video Production, Printmaking, Serigraphy, Painting, Animation etc.) and Computer Skills.
I have a good knowledge of Graphic Design Software (MAC and PC): Corel Draw, CS3(Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Adobe AfterEffects), iMovie. I am in the process of learning new design packages like Encore, Adobe Flash, In Design and Dreamweaver.
I think I am an imaginative and communicative person with a good sense of humour and ability to quickly adapt to a new environment. I am well-organised, fit and active as well.
