About me

Hi,

I am a former actress with a particular passion communication, the power of the written word and creating memorable events. After my graduation in 2000 I left London and worked as an actress in Sweden for eight years before I did my MA in communications. I just recently moved back to London. My aim is to continue working with communications and build a career in the UK capital.

After finishing my MA in 2011, I worked in Stockholm as a communications consultant mainly writing a commercial copy and administrating websites. I worked for Nordic Choice Hotels writing SEO content and doing transcreation for their new website. I translated from Norwegian and English to Swedish and from Swedish to English. Managing five different hotel brands with their individual tone of voice and target group.

I did all PR work for award winning filmmaker Gus Van Sant´s exhibition at Fotografiska, Stockholm's photographic museum. I was in charge of communicating with the press and organising the exhibition opening, private events and press meetings all concerning this major exhibition.

In the past three years I have produced three festivals and have managed events for brand experience company Nine Yard as project manager and production manager. I managed the production team, and was over all responsible for sales, sponsors, suppliers and press. This indicated that I am highly self-motivated, structured, reliable and doer as well as an excellent writer.

I like to work in a fast paced environment. I am flexible and well organised and used to work with short deadlines. Since I have a BA from University of London I am fluent in English and have excellent writing skills. Perhaps what is most important I have a positive outlook, lots of energy and enthusiasm.
