Dear Sir/Madam,
I wish to apply for the position of a content writer for your company. Currently I run my own lifestyle blog where I cover areas such as fashion, beauty, fitness and travel, therefore I have a variety of knowledge in different sectors as well as current affairs. As a result of running a blog, I have an understanding how social media helps to build a business, so I use most variations of social media to help promote my business.
Furthermore, as well as writing for my blog, I also take part in short story competitions in order to improve my creative writing skills. Because of this, I am able to write fictional and non-fictional content with my own creative flair that is unique to my style. Likewise, as I begin studying English Literature and French at University this year I have strong written communication skills and am able to present my work professionally.
I believe I would be suited to working for company as I am able to adapt my writing style to suit different audiences and have experience across various digital channels that help promote and market business. Working as a content writer would be a perfect opportunity for me to expand my knowledge in the writing sector and expand my skills as it is a sector of work I would like to progress in.
