About me
I am a skilled editor and writer with five years' experience of teaching children in their final stage of primary school, which involves editing writing and creating high quality model texts (from a whole range of text types) on a daily basis. As a Year 6 Teacher, I have been externally moderated twice (which means qualified moderators have assessed the standard of my English Language and Literature teaching) with fantastic results and I have a proven track record of preparing children for secondary school with the highest possible levels of attainment in grammar, spelling and creative and essay writing. Whilst I am currently undertaking a career change into copywriting, my current post has allowed me to develop numerous transferable skills suitable for the role I now seek such as an impeccably high standard of English language and literature. I have begun my career change with some voluntary freelance copywriting within the charity sector as well as developing my lifestyle blog and am now seek full time employment doing the thing that I am most passionate about: writing.
