About me
Ergin Binyildiz is the Chief Creative Officer of Havas Turkey. With his teams, he has won hundreds of awards including several Cannes Lions, a One Show Green Pencil, Golden Drum and Epica Grand Prix's. His agency has been selected as the agency of the year in Turkey twice and he has been named as the creative leader of the year in 2019 and 2020 consecutively. He has been recently ranked as the number one CCO in the Middle East and Africa region by the One Club.
In his previous agencies (Publicis, Ogilvy and Grey), the work he produced for Coke, P&G, Ford and Nike travelled across the globe. He joined Havas when it was a mid sized, conventional ATL agency, and he dedicated his time and effort to transform the agency's thinking towards a contemporary model where teams create outside formats, and the output is good enough to compete not just against other ads but against user generated content too. He believes the communication power of brands can really create purposeful change. His -now- 3 year old campaign with Finish on saving water has won several awards and resulted in saving 24 million tons of water (equal to a mid sized lake). Amongst his achievements are setting the concept of a NatGeo documentary on water preservation and inspiring a Disney feature film to be aired in autumn 2021. The water campaign which originated in Turkey is now rolling out to several other countries including US, UK, Italy, Spain and Germany.
Ergin has judged with several prestigious shows including Cannes, One Show, Clio and Eurobest.
