Dear Sirs,
I would like to express my interest in a position as Video Journalist at your
organization and would like to submit my CV for your perusal.
In return I can offer the experience in Production gained in past three years as well
as my language and technical skills.

Four months of Production Assistant Free Lance for Neath Films Ltd.
Three months of Internship in Neath Films Ltd. (South London) where my main duties
where: Production Assistant, Runner, First Editor, Animator, Office Work.
Eight Months of Production Assistant for Director Massimo Magrì.

Three years spent at the University of Design (Politecnico di Milano) in direct
contact with professionists dealing with all types of images,I was able to develop
a broad visual culture and a fine aesthetic taste, which now allow me to operate
either in graphic manifactures or in the display field.
My tasks included taking pictures, making flyers and posters, writing layouts and
sewing books and leaflets as well as developing websites (built in Flash).
I was also frequently asked to present my works with great focus on presentation.
From this I have developed a strong attention to detail and I have become equally
confident working independently as well as part of a team.
The MA in Visual Arts (IUAV) has then allowed me to gain experience in video production.
There, the chance to work with directors such as Stefano Savona, Massimo Magrì, Paul Tana,
Agostino Ferrente, Giovanni Piperno, Marco Bertozzi and Marco Segato, gave me the
opportunity to get involved in many video production projects.
Moreover, I have been asked to write screenplays for short films, advertisements
and documentaries, to illustrate storyboards, to find and take pictures of locations,
and to contact Film Commissions in order to arrange public sets. I have also covered many
roles in the set, where I had to act as director, camera operator, boom operator and
foley artist. Post-production was the managed with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
and Final Cut.

I have a very proactive attitude to work and am always seeking new challenges and to develop
my portfolio of skills. I believe that my practical experience, enthusiasm and maturity will
set me in good stead to proceed in the Video Production sector.
I am keen to further enhance my experience and knowledge and I am confident that I would
be an asset to your Company.
