About me

I am looking for work as a photographers assistant, freelance
photographer and/or a digital editor.

My name is Emy and I have been working part time as a professional
photographer for just over a year. I graduate this summer from
university where I was studying digital media design. I am in the
process of setting up my own photography business, however my dream is
to work as a top fashion photographer and digital re-toucher and so I
want to learn and develop my skills by having the opportunity to learn
on the job from a practicing professional. I have a real willingness to
learn and develop the skills needed in order to succeed in this
industry.

I have been taking photos for three years now and have recently
bought my own home studio where I am teaching myself different lighting
techniques. I am also skilled in photo editing, manipulation, design
and retouching within Photoshop.

I have a friendly and positive attitude towards everyone I meet and
everything I do. My previous work experience has helped me develop
excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to
deal with the unexpected in a calm and efficient manner.

After working as a receptionist for two years I have developed good
office skills, a polite and helpful telephone manner and I am able to
demonstrate keen attention to detail. I am also able to deal with
clients in a diplomatic way and have recently begun to make and keep
contacts within the industry.

I am prepared to do whatever is necessary to ensure that a photo
shoot runs smoothly from setting up equipment to keeping the
models/stylists/clients entertained to making a good cup of tea for
everyone involved!
