About me
A few years ago I took a break and trained as an English Language Teacher. I moved to Vietnam and taught Kindergarten in Hanoi. I was there for over a year and only returned to the UK to start the job I have now. I miss my cute, friendly, wild, creative small people everyday. Most of the time they were a lot easier to wrangle than the stakeholders I deal with now.
I can confidently use an array of software packages, and am used to practising and teaching myself to use any new software that is needed for a role. I have excellent communication and time management skills as I am often structuring and scheduling my own workflows, and have a creative eye for design that I can use to add my own flair to a project.
In April '21 I will be starting a 9 month course in Motion Design, doing this whilst still working full time. I don't believe in stopping learning just because you have finished school or university - it is something you should do throughout life and definitely something you should ENJOY! (I'm clearly biased though due to my education work...)
As a person I am kind and understanding, I'd like to think I am fun and make a good team member! At my current role I am the 'social secretary', (I am just the one who organises the occasional after work drinks and birthday doughnuts...)
