About me
Hi, I'm Emma, a versatile graphic designer, illustrator and artist with over 12 years of experience. I live and breathe creativity in both my working and personal life.
As a professional creative I have worked for a wide range of clients from corporate and travel to educational and pro-bono causes, which has demanded a diverse and adaptable style. My experience spans across print and digital, products and marketing materials.
In my own time I create art mainly inspired by nature and fantasy. I also love crafting and upcycling. I have illustrated and published a children's book 'The Dappled Flap Warbler'.
I am experienced in the following:
-Brochure & magazine layouts
-Hand-drawn illustrations & art commissions
-Vector graphics & illustrations
-Design & illustration of printed products such as children's books & educational resources
-Book cover design and artwork
-Infographics
-Photo manipulation / enhancements / image retouching
-Logo & brand design
-Web banners & assets
-Leaflets / flyers
-Newspaper and magazine adverts
-Instructional documents
-Exhibition displays
-Simple animations e.g. logo animation
I am also a wordsmith with a degree in creative writing, so will be able to proofread and spot typos and grammatical errors when handling copy.
I take the view that the process of learning and developing never ends and am always up for new challenges, and take on every project with attentiveness and precision. I don't see the point in doing a half-hearted job!
