About me
Hi there!
My name is Emma and I'm a Creative Designer.
I have an honours degree in Graphic Design and 8 years experience in children's publishing. I have worked predominantly in educational publishing but also within the trade books sector. Some of my clients include Dreamworks, Pearson, Oxford University Press, Macmillan and Cambridge University Press.
During my career, I have designed picture books, created dynamic covers, typeset worksheets and maths books, designed science books, teacher's guides and worked with licensed trade material.
I've also designed marketing collateral for a homeless charity - from posters and flyers to life-size banners.
I'm highly proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Microsoft Office. I'm willing to learn to hone my skills even further and work as hard as I need to, to get to where I want to be.
I'm looking for a permanent role I can sink my teeth into and become an invaluable part of a team.
