About me

My name is Emma Smith and I am writing to apply for the picture researcher position at your company. I have a BA (Hons) Photography degree and am looking to pursue a career working with images. I am currently participating in a work experience placement at Ingram Publishing, a stock image library based in London. During the placement I have carried out picture research for customers, edited submissions from photographers and found new contributors for the collections. At Ingram I have been put in charge of reviewing thousands of images and have learned to prioritise tasks in order to complete everything to the desired deadline.

Before this I gained experience at Pepper Stark, a recruitment and consultancy firm for picture libraries. Whilst there I also completed picture research tasks, as well as finding picture library contact details and coming up with ideas for a photographer who wanted to sell their images to a wider audience.

I have experience in using Photoshop and Adobe CS as well as other Microsoft software. I am extremely motivated, enjoying all that I do and put my all into any task to achieve the best results that I can. I would love to have an opportunity to have an interview with you.
