To Whom It May Concern,

I am a Fashion designer / Illustrator and am seeking further employment or freelance work. I have recently relocated to London from Dublin to pursue more design opportunities and gain some good experience.

I studied Fashion Design at the National College of Art and Design Dublin and graduated with a first class honours BDES Degree in 2003, culminating in a womenswear collection based on the manipulation of traditional concepts in men's tailoring to construct a contemporary silhouette, combining soft wools and feminine prints.

I have been working in the fashion industry for over 2 years and also working as a freelance illustrator to magazines as well as various commissions. My experience has been varied and broad covering garment design with drape, illustration and technical flat drawings, idea generation and trend research, pattern cutting and toile construction, print design for garments, sample making, mood board lay out, fabric selection, garment sample making and garment embellishment. I have strong hand drawing skills as well as being proficient on photoshop and basic illustrator.
