About me

I would like to apply for the position of Mac Designer.
I am a recent graduate with a degree in Design and Art Direction (BA Hons).
I have experience working in many creative environments. I am currently working at a design agency, at which I have contributed to projects for clients including Levis and SilentNight. These projects have included catalogue design, photo retouching, photography, leaflet design and general graphic design.

My design skills include page layout/magazine design, a great understanding of all CS3 software, including Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Bridge. I have had a lot of photography experience, in and outside of a studio. I have also done a lot of photo retouching, such as airbrushing models and image manipulation using Photoshop. I have worked with clients including Label Behind The Label to produce campaign material, and also with bands to produce print ready cd cover artwork.

I have had experience doing photography in fashion environments, as I have worked for Manchester Fashion Network at catwalk shows and also as a freelance photographer working with fashion designers at university.
My work experience has given me the knowledge to produce work to a professional standard and the confidence to go further with my career.
I am looking to progress my career in a creative position. As my skills and experience are very broad I do not want to limit the possibilities open to me.
