About me

I have always had a keen interest in the field of graphic design and illustration and during my foundation course as my skills increased my interest in the field grew. I feel that graphic design would be an ideal way to combine my skills and interests and ability to problem solve. This

interest has been confirmed whilst on work experience in a busy design firm last summer. I am particularly attracted to the opportunity to work closely with a number of teams and individuals to maximise my skills and knowledge of the design industry as well as hopefully maximising

opportunities for the companies involved.

I have a great work ethic and am enthusiastic and eager to learn and I feel I could really benefit from this opportunity as well as the company involved. I have attention to detail and finshing and have a particular interest and ability in illustraion and type, especially hand drawn type and creating new typefaces.

I am highly IT literate with a strong emphasis on team-working as well as working well on my own initiative. Having taken on a number of real projects throughout my time at university has enabled me to develop my project management skills, my understanding and interpretation of a clients needs and an understanding of print processes and dealing with printers. At Triplicate during my work experience I was expected to work first hand with designers and aid them in their research and finishing of projects, which helped in expanding my technical skills and knowledge.
