Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing in reply to your job advertisement for a Junior Designer/Illustrator- Northamptonshire.

I am currently working as a freelance Illustrator and graphic designer based in the UK, but am looking for a more permanent role within a company.

As an illustrator I have my own unique and very quirky style. All my illustrations are originally drawn freehand and I also have strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. As part of my Masters degree I created my own illustrated fashion brand. I used my illustrations on a variety of materials and created handbags, t-shirts and hair ribbons. This highlights my understanding of creating patterns and working with colour. I hope that through my portfolio you can see my extreme passion and enthusiasm for illustration and design.
