About me

I am an extremely versatile designer and art director. I have had a great deal of experience working on film and animation design and on graphics for film. After receiving a first for my design degree from the university of West England I set up a small film and animation company making experimental short film and animation.

The films have toured film festivals, sold to television and won numerous awards.

I have also spent many years as a freelance graphic designer working on logo design, packaging design, branding, marketing and publicity. Consequently I have a broad range of skills and a variety of ways of expressing design solutions.

I am fluent in Photoshop and Illustrator, and also use Indesign. I am also proficient in Adobe After effects and Final Cut Pro.

My experience of film making within the art department includes design and art directing for both live and animated film, television and theatre.

I have had extensive experience of set design, graphic design, set decorating and dressing, prop buying. I have also had experience of art directing, budgeting, scheduling and set and prop breakdown.

My greatest skills lie in developing new and innovative ideas and experimenting with graphics, film, photography and music. I have a strong visual awareness, a flair for styling, and a keen eye for detail.

I enjoy working on risk taking projects that push boundaries and challenge existing ideas, and am passionate about graphics, film making and design. I am resourceful, enthusiastic, reliable, self disciplined and highly motivated.
