I have 5 years experience working as a print designer for fashion and textiles in London.
I understand that you are interested in applicants with experience working within a fashion and textiles, possess a strong creative background and have an advanced knowledge of design.
I have in-depth experience in the process of creating bespoke deigns and working closely with garment designers and pattern cutters. I am familiar working closely within a team of designers and creating presentations for trend led design proposals. I believe that my professional print design skills, work ethic, passion for design and ability to work well within a team would make me an ideal candidate.
My most recent design position was in a full-time role for is a regular Womenswear supplier to fashion houses including Coast, Pennies, Primark, including selling prints to various fashion houses and brands. Within this role I work closely with the garment designers and creative director, developing Womenswear pieces from sketch to pitch to high-street. I am highly involved in the creative process in choosing prints to develop that will be on brand for the clients we supply to. Working in Womenswear has given me the skills of matching prints to particular garments. I liaise with fabric printers aboard, sending design specs to our printers in Turkey, complete with all Pantone colour matches for my print designs.
