About me

My name is Emma Harris, I'm a qualified Fashion graduate with much experience within the creative industry. I've been writing to the brands that I love over the last few years in regards to internship and placements, however now newly graduated I am really able to commit to a role within a company.

I have recently undertaken commissions from major surf brand Mambo Surf De Luxe and am in the process of having a piece printed in The Independent amongst other publications. I have been working in PR and Creative Branding most recently for Eco Fashion Brand, Rapanui Clothing. My efforts have results in great publicity for the company and solid seasonal campaigns. I am proud of my latest achievements and I hope this demonstrates that I am a bright and determined young person, working to a professional standard.

For the last four years I have worked alongside creative professionals on events, photo shoots, films, magazines, websites and look books and have maintain relations with many influential people within the media. I am a very driven person and love working within a team, striving to meet deadlines. I conduct all of my projects and commissions, whether working under my own initiative, delegating or as part of a team to my highest ability and with great attention to detail. My aim is to work exclusively within a brand that I feel passionate about as part of their in house creative team.

To date I have experience working in PR, Art Direction, Marketing and Branding alongside graphic designers, photographers, journalists and models. Working with the sheer volume of people that make up a creative team or project has led me to become a highly organised and decisive person. I have impeccable interpersonal and communication skills and love bouncing ideas off of other people in regards to the task in hand.

As part of my degree, I was expected to spend up to ten weeks purely researching brands and their competition, using literary and online resources, Mintel, Fashion Monitor and first hand research, investigating stores, calling heard quarters, writing Shop and Marketing Reports to demonstrate my findings. The more hands on research approach has often resulted in embarrassing situations with security, but I find this an invaluable analysis of the innovations of rival company products and branding.

I am a punctual, hard working, ambitious and a dedicated worker/team player with a polite and professional nature. I understand the importance of company presence and representation within industry and what is expected of employees to uphold this esteemed image and reputation.
