About me
Forever illustration has always been my goal, my dream, my ambition. To give people the pleasure of seeing a mind blowing image alongside their bed time stories.
I have therefore worked so hard to get to my goal of becoming an Illustrator. At GCSE I obtained an A* in Graphic Design and an A in Fine Art. Then going on to achieve A Levels in Graphics with Materials Technology and Fine Art both A's. Also A in As Photography. I also studied A Level English Language Literature and Geography achieving B's in both.
I have studio photographed, dark room developed and designed the CD cover inside booklet for a local band. I have also photographed another local band at four of their gigs. I like combining Illustration and photography to create surreal effects.
I am currently studying BA Hons Illustration at Middlesex University, London. At every stage in my educational process, Illustration is inspiring me and making my determination more and more strengthened. It excites me that I'm so close to finally becoming an Illustrator. I am inspired greatly by Dorothea Tanning and Victoria Frances. I aspire to reach their great abilities.
My working practise is very open including; large surreal oil and acrylic paintings, pen and ink drawings, brush tip pen drawings, watercolours, pencil drawings and darkroom/ digital photography in a studio or natural environment. I am confident on Adobe Photoshop.
I cannot wait for someone to open a book and smile at my Illustrations.
