About me
I am a creative and innovative designer, taking inspiration from the print and pattern industry. Since graduating from Leeds College of Art, I have gained relevant and valuable experience as a Creative Designer for companies; Ellison and Creative Rox in Wrexham. These companies specialise in the papercrafting and scrap-booking markets. I worked to create contemporary and on-trend paper collections for the Craft Asylum brand and I am also experienced in die designing for the Sizzix brand, which is continually evolving and has become a staple name in the craft industry. My role focused on the importance of trend research and responding to multiple design briefs, allowing me to adapt my own style as a designer. Although my previous experience specialises in paper-crafting, the combination of hand-illustration and digital techniques allows the design process to have versatility. This applies to a variety of creative disciplines and is demonstrated throughout my current portfolio.
