Dear Sir/Madam

My name is Emily, I would like to apply for the position of Junior Social Media Designer within your company. I graduated last year from Kingston University with a First Class Honours degree in Photography (BA). Although my degree was in Photography, I have a huge interest in Marketing and Social Media.

I am currently working as a PA to the Managing Director of arts company Arts2Life UK. My role here mainly includes email and diary management, booking meetings, and I am also in charge of recruitment, this too requiring high organisational skills. I work closely with the Social Media Co-ordinator and have a thorough understanding of what is involved.

I feel my knowledge and experience will make me an excellent candidate for this position.

As an individual, I have an acute attention to detail. I am extremely hard-working and organised, creative, reliable and a good communicator/listener. I am a fast learner and am always eager to learn new skills. I enjoy working to briefs and am comfortable working under pressure. I am technically proficient with Photoshop, Mac and PC, MS Office, amongst others. Immersing myself in both voluntary and part-time work has enabled me to master providing good customer service within a fast paced, pressurised environment. I am looking forward to applying my developed skills within an enjoyable and creative working environment.
