About me
Having studied Art and Design from a young age, I finished my degree within Fine Art at Kingston University almost a year ago and have been working for a publishing company since I graduated. Through this company I have worked closely with the marketing team and in my spare time, continued on from the three years spent at Kingston, I have created my own on-line store selling my illustrated t-shirt designs.
Financially unable to only work freelance after my degree I found a job opportunity at Ian Allan Publishing. Having joined the company within a receptionist role I wanted to use my organisation and design skills to improve my position within the company and now, having been there almost eleven months, I have been working as a Design Assistant helping the marketing and design teams for the majority of my time at Ian Allan. As much as I have enjoyed the time spent there I have been looking for employment opportunities better suited towards my design and illustration background and also my more recent interest in Marketing.
I would, therefore, love the opportunity to work within a creative department, not only to develop my skills in illustration and design but also to work within an environment that I can be truly passionate about.
Thank you for your time.
Kind Regards,
Emily Shaw
