To whom it may concern,

I am writing to apply for the position of Production Co-ordinator at Createselect.

I would bring to this role a wide expanse of picture desk experience and great love for producing beautiful imagery.

Whilst in my current role I have been responsible for a wide variety of photo shoot production with a particular focus on food. For two years I have been soley responsible for commissioning food photographers, home economists, stylist and studios. In addition I have progressively taken on the role of art directing and prop styling these shoots whilst also undertaking the budget -related administration.

I currently hold the position of Picture Researcher at Harrods magazine.

Prior to this I worked freelance on a part time basis, for two years. This started in 2008 when I completed a three-week work placement with British Vogue, earning me the role of Picture Editor on 'Vogue's Secret Address Book'. During the 7 weeks I worked on this project I gathered images from a wide variety of sources, developed still life concepts and directed these shoots.

After my time at British Vogue, I went on to work as a freelance picture researcher for several other publications including GQ, Vogue Turkey and Elle Magazine. In April 2010 I was offered my full time position at Harrods Magazine.

Working in a small team that produce an average of 20 publications a year, as well as Ad campaigns and in-store marketing, has meant managing my workload in order to produce shoots of a very high standard is essential.

The position of Picture Researcher at Harrods Magazine has been a great platform and one from which I will take away a wealth of knowledge and experience. However, while I remain enthusiastic and driven in my current role I feel I've reached a point in my career where I would like to take on new challenges and responsibilities in order to develop my skills even further.

I am creative, conscientious, and above all passionate about pictures. I would love the opportunity to work for a large company and take on the prestigious role of Shoot Production Co-ordinator.
