Within My collection of references highlighting outstanding feedback from Topshop given by Tara Taylor states everyone I worked with was thoroughly impressed with my hard work and continuously positive attitude, for this and many other positive work ethic reasons I was offered a paid placement for the TOPSHOP UNIQUE show for S/ S15 including the offer of paid freelance throughout my final year of studies. In my other previous references from MARIA GRACHVOGEL, FYODOR GOLAN and PETER PILOTTO I was described as reliable, highly motivated, devoted, patient and a very hard worker with a fantastic personality, willing to go that extra mile. The reference from PETER PILOTTO states I was ' great at working with the department heads and was extremely task orientated. Her drive for excellence and continuous positive energy made her a pleasure to work with and a strong asset to have on the team'. I was valued by the team as well as other departments, including design, print, distribution and the directors themselves. During my time spent in the industry I feel I have gained many valuable personal and professional skills including the knowledge of different businesses and practices from high end to commercial high street design. When I worked at FYODOR GOLAN, I designed the surface design and beading placement (Swarovski) for their A/W14 collection which was showcased in a variety of magazines including Vogue Italia as well as online media including the Huddersfield University fashion hub. I attended the Paris showrooms for PETER PILOTTO PS15 collection, meeting and communicating with international buyers and working with the sales and PR team at rainbow wave. This also consisted of styling the models as part of the sales. A wide variety of key roles and responsibilities I undertook when assisting design teams at previous companies I worked for include, trend research, sourcing for trims, customizing swimwear, jersey and coats, assisting in compiling research packs, assisting in the creation of trend boards, collection boards, mood boards and flat technical drawings including general use of illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Other Design responsibilities included fittings, trying on garments and giving fit feedback, sharing ideas for garment style, creating length charts and season style booklets, inputting collection data on ZEDONK and updating overviews of each season. Holding an excellent variety of embroidery skills, as well as knowledge with prints and print placement.

Enthusiastic for design with a desire for trend forecasting, brand design, colour and fabric sourcing, I love organising and experimenting with composition and layouts of work, paying high attention to detail. Very willing and keen to learn new skills and challenges.
